Gotochi means "local" and they are special die-cut regional form cards that designed & released by the Japanese Postal System. Each one represents a place in Japan by showcasing the local landmarks or specialty. Each prefecture will have a few designs available. What makes them special and rare is that they can only be purchased in the particular prefectures in Japan only. These are highly sought after by Postcrossers and postcards enthusiasts!
